We are already five days into our Kickstarter for The Exodus of Wolfbane, and it’s going really well. We reached our funding goal in four hours—even though it was significantly higher than the goal we set for The Peasants’ Fell Bargain—and we seem to be on track to surpass that first project. This campaign is also helping us to get the word out about the first module, as new backers opt to add to their pledge in order to get a copy.
This is all wonderful, of course, but what I truly didn’t expect was how great it would be to see backers from the first campaign return for this one. It may sound odd, but it feels almost like a homecoming. We are a very small company: we watched with excitement as each new backer signed on for Peasants’ Fell Bargain, we answered every email and comment as quickly as we could, and we personally prepared each and every package for the mail. So to see familiar names turn up once again, and to hear from backers about how happy they are to support us in another project, has been immensely rewarding.
We started Gaming Honors because we love gaming, and we love telling stories. After decades of doing it around our own tables, last year we decided to take the plunge and try to share our stories with the world. We were thrilled when almost three hundred people chose to take the plunge with us and help make The Peasants’ Fell Bargain a reality.
To see so many people return for another adventure with us is amazing, and we are delighted to watch the community grow. And you know the best part? We still have over three weeks to welcome new and returning backers to the journey!
And yes, It's going to be epic!
